This includes but is not limited to:

  • Trying to improve test scores by cheating or copying from other test-takers
  • Helping other test-takers to get a higher score or an unfair advantage
  • Communicating with other test-takers during test-taking
  • Using model answers supplied by the teacher or another source
  • Using AI or other text generation tools
  • Using written materials like a dictionary or textbooks to support test-taking
  • Bringing any digital device (like mobile phones, tablets, and calculators) into the exam room
  • Having any other software, apps, or browser windows or tabs open while taking the test
  • Copying or photographing the test content
  • Impersonating other test-takers to take the test.

Oxford University Press may use manual and automated processes to detect, monitor and investigate cases of potential malpractice. Where malpractice is suspected to have occurred, results may be withheld.
