The Oxford International Standardized Assessments are aligned to the Oxford International Curriculum. The tests are designed to provide insights into learners’ progress and achievement at key transition points at the end of Primary (typically at the end of Year 6) and Lower Secondary (typically at the end of Year 9) to inform decisions about further studies and test-takers’ focuses in subsequent years. The results can also be used to inform teaching for future cohorts.
These are end-of-phase tests, which assess knowledge and skills against material taught during the programme of study in the chosen subject. The assessments can be used with test-takers who have studied other curricula, but reporting of results specifically references the Oxford International Curriculum objectives and framework.
